Safety FAQ

What is the skydiving accident rate?
Modern skydiving is extremely safe. Accident rates have dropped dramatically over the years due to equipment and training improvements.
Can the parachute fail?
Every jumper carries two parachutes — main and reserve. Plus an AAD device that automatically deploys the reserve if needed.
What if I lose consciousness in freefall?
The AAD (Automatic Activation Device) is programmed to fire automatically at a set altitude if the parachute has not been deployed.
Do I need special medical insurance?
We recommend comprehensive medical insurance. Contact us for details on available insurance options.
